Size
Midi beds that have storage are typically smaller than high sleepers and have a ladder or staircase that is shorter which makes them suitable for smaller rooms. They can take one UK mattress and add a range of useful elements beneath. From a smartly constructed desk that converts into a cupboard to hold totes, to stylish drawers that move with a smooth non-wobble action.
Our midi cabin beds are available in a variety of colors so you can choose one that will best suit your child's bedroom. Some go further than this and include the option of custom storage units. The desk can be moved between the two units via wheels. There are four drawers for storage, and two cupboards that are equipped with doors. The Eli F takes things to the next level with doors that match your chosen head and foot boards.
The Luna low-line loft bed or Midi-storage bed is small, and comes with everything you need. A ladder that is able to be rotated as well as a desk on wheels that slides between the two and a three drawer cabinet and chest are all included. You can also get it in a reverse configuration, for example the ladder on the left. You can ask for this in the store or mention this at the checkout.

A lot of our customers opt for a low-line loft bed that has stairs that can be turned. This midi loft that is compact and has storage features everything your child needs The desk slides in and out on wheels, there are three drawers where they can store their trinkets or toys and a huge cupboard to keep their books in.
Some midi loft beds with storage have the desk already in the bunk (as as shown in the picture above) Some, such as our Luna midi bunk have the ladder positioned on the right hand side, so that the desk can be positioned to the left (please ask in store, or on the phone, or in the comments section when you're looking around if this is important to you).
Most midi loft beds require the standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest looking through our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds are compatible with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk comes with a safety rail that gives you additional security. Some models include an amazing pull-out drawer for a trundle to sleep in or additional storage space beneath the bed. These can be either open or fitted with doors (please refer to the product's specifications for more information).
Many midi cabins include desks that can be moved from one level to the other, or chests. This gives children a bespoke space for all their belongings, and you don't have to take the floor space by putting up bulky wardrobes or shelving units.
A few of the models have even taken it a step further with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or is part of the headboard or footboard. This is great for storing books and toys.
